How did these clowns not notice that a low carb diet improves glycemic control a lot more? Bernstein had major diabetic complications which most all cleared on his diet, why fool with a vegetarian diet? Unless maybe you’re from the ’50s and have fat-phobia or you’re a vegetarian and have a thought disorder
There are many values to a vegetarian diet especially if it is hypocaloric but I would ask if this group would recognize in the same way a 20-week LCHF diet that had the same outcome?
