It is amazing that people who think we cannot afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, and medication somehow think that we can afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, medication and a government bureaucracy to administer it.

    I personally would rather pay for the government bureaucracy than the insurance
    company bureaucracy. Why did Sowell leave the insurance companies out of his
    equation? Probably because the right-wingers realize a government bureaucracy would
    cut their take from the public pocketbook.
