The “Nursing Schools” website has posted a list of 50 successful people with diabetes you may recognize. One is Ray Kroc, founder of McDonald’s restaurants. Just helps to show that diabetes doesn’t have to be a death sentence.

I was wondering why Ray Kroc died so young (age 81)!
Most other fast food moguls lived into their 90s.
Hi, Paul. I admit I can’t name a single other fast food mogul except for Colonel Sanders. Not sure how long he lived. Off topic, but I just heard that Jack Lalanne died at age 96 – be he had some strong ideas on nutrition.
Oh he sure did. The stuff I’ve read from Jack is excellent. Unless I’m mistaken, none of the Atkins style carbs are bad BS from Jack!
